It really is obvious this fo has no interest in winning. They got nick fir free just to make the fans not get on them. It's obvious saving money4 years from now is more important then wibning and getting a 5th starter and it shows. A team with an interest in wibning fires there awful hitting coach to spark the team. A team that is interested in winning doesn't keep their gf in the minors, and a team who wants to win goes out and gets a fifth starter. This team is going nowhere until all of these things happen

We cannot win a "Must-defeat" game, 2 in a row.

 

I think our biggest problem is 'didn't have a certain No.5 or 6 hitter'.

I am so pi$$ed off right now. How can we lose to a bunch of bench players twice in a row. Besides the first couple of hitters the Nats are garbage, it is really sad when they consider john Lannan an ace! Why can't this team have any hint of being clutch or at least getting on. MIKE MCDOUGAL SHOULDNT STRIKE THE BEST HITTER IN THE NL OUT, IM SORRY BUT IT ISNT HAPPENING!! Why didn't we go after someone like Nyjer Morgan, didn't the nats give up like Joel Hanrahan for him???

I was thinking before yesterday's game that according to the law of averages, the Marlins are probably gonna lose a couple games in this series. Apparently I was right.

that trade we have donot help us at all mangement was think it could push us into playoff race but it didnot now with football season almost here with camp starting the way their playing their be on last page of newpaper and last thing on tv sport cast we need stay in playoff map or we be but backburner

we need to win tomorrow and we need to at minimum win the series against the Phillies, if we lose that series I think we are on life support

You know, the Nationals are just looking like a lot more confident team right now than any time we've seen them this year. It's why you can't count on just being able to beat up on bad teams to make the playoffs- you really need to beat up on everyone. The good teams are out their taking care of business against both good and bad teams. We've beaten a few good teams here and there but have also gotten dramatically kicked around in certain series.

Bonifacio can't hit a sac fly to save his life but I can probably say this for most of our guys.

Look I'm annoyed aswell at losing the first 2 games of this series but think about this:

 

We were 25-3 in the past 28 against the Nats coming into the series and 9-0 this year. That is unheard of in baseball. They were overdue to beat us and as much as it sucks, the way baseball works means that one team cannot beat another 100% of the time.
