Tuesday, May 4 Tickets Sun Life Stadium | 7:10 PM ET

SF Tim Lincecum, RHP (4-0, 1.27)

Giants (14-10) @ FLA Anibal Sanchez, RHP (1-2, 4.32)

Marlins (13-12)

Giants: In his last start, Lincecum was three outs away from becoming the first Giants pitcher to win not only his first five starts of the season, but also five games in April, since John Burkett in 1993. A complete game also appeared within reach for Lincecum, who had surrendered three hits, struck out 11 and thrown 98 pitches entering the ninth. But after walking Shane Victorino on four pitches with one out, Giants manager Bruce Bochy pulled Lincecum in favor of closer Brian Wilson. Wilson blew the save, the Giants lost and Lincecum remained 4-0 with a 1.27 ERA.

Marlins: Why Sanchez has made progress in his last two starts is pretty basic. The right-hander is throwing strikes more regularly. Even though he suffered a loss on April 27 to the Padres, Sanchez was effective over 6 1/3 innings, allowing three runs (two earned). Of his 101 pitches, 65 were strikes, as he struck out seven and walked two. In his previous outing -- April 22 at Houston -- Sanchez threw 89 pitches with 65 strikes in a win. He has walked two in his last 13 innings.

Why? Sanchez was great in the 2 spot. Jeesh.

Hope Timmy is off his game tonight,or else it might be a long night at the plate. He hasn't been yet this year,so maybe he's due.

Who's this Lincecum character everybody is barking about. I'm pretty sure we could put up 5 or 6 runs against this nobody.

The Giants have an amazing starting staff. If they make the playoffs I wouldn't be surprised them go all the way. They need a better offense, though.

Need to take two of three from this series. gonna be tough though.

Lincecum is going to love Maybin

Everyone knew Maybin would strike out there, even after he got ahead 2-0.

Gotta get his PC as high as we can early on.

God damn it yet another game I can't watch cos we are having internet connection problems in my area that have lasted a few days now (also missed Sundays game). Can access the net even tho its painfully slow but cannot load up MLB.tv

we playing the best pitcher of gaints

Lets look at more fastballs to hit on 0-2 counts.

Hit the weight room Gaby.

Game Day froze

jesus I know Lincecum's a terrible guy to judge him against but Maybin is just plain swinging at everything.
