Going to see a back specialist and according to capozzi it has to do with "back and shoulder". shoulder is not the word i want to hear.

That sure sounds to me like it may be the season. There aren't many weeks left; we aren't going anywhere. Maybe we should shut him down and let him rest. Since the ASG JJ hasn't been the same. Just probably too tired and pushed it.

If JJ's shoulder and back are fine, I want him to continue pitching. I want him to get more comfortable throwing more innings and going deeper into seasons.

Same here.

My first hunch is him overexerting himself to try and stay in games that he didn't trust our bullpen to protect for him. JJ needs a more reliable pen behind him so he can compete comfortably. He's just too good, the rest of the team just has to support him better.

Personally I don't think they don't support him or purposfully try not to. I think they are just too inconsistent to support him. And some batters have his number and take him into long counts which take him out of the game faster.
