Wouldn't mind Herges.

I wouldn't mind never seeing Herges in a Marlins uniform again, actually. :)

Mike Jacobs for LOOGY?

Oh he's a loogy alright....

THAT IS A HILARIOUS POST. HOLY CRAP, PLEASE BE MY FRIEND.

Hmm......trying to get a reading on my sarcasm meter......:)

As someone who once almost registered www.MattHergesIsMyPersonalHell.com, please no.

I seem to remember him saying some not to nice things about the fanbase & the franchise when he left. I wouldn't want him back.

No, no. Completely honest. I got what you meant, and it cracked me the **** up. Very well done.

In that case, we shall form the more formidable bromance in the history of bromances!

Wouldn't mind Herpes.

This is more appealing to me than Herges

:lol

From that list though (of pitchers, not STD's) how about Cla Meredith?

2006 (Padres) - 50.2 innings, 1.07 ERA, 37 K, 6 BB, 3 HR

2007 (Padres) - 79.2 innings, 3.50 ERA, 59 K, 17 BB, 6 HR

2008 (Padres) - 70.1 innings, 4.09 ERA, 49 K, 24 BB, 6 HR

2009 (Padres/Orioles) - 65.1 innings, 3.99 ERA, 37 K, 25 BB, 4 HR

2010 (Orioles) - 15 innings, 5.40 ERA, 7 K, 4 BB, 4 HR

Declining strikeout numbers and giving up a few HR's are definite issues however he has shown in the past to be able to post some solid ERA numbers and give a good amount of innings out of the pen.

If he's on, he's very good against right-handed hitters. He was actually my favorite option out of that list, as well.
