And Cousins didn't get up like a tough guy like Morgan did after that play on Hayes. The only reason Cousins even left the scene tonight was because Bochy was shouting at him, supposedly.

Giant had a very good record in one-run game.

Mike Stanton needed a multiyear deal yesterday. He just keeps on proving how bad of a decision it was to not lock him up earlier every day. Tonight I came up with a new nickname for him though - The Beast of the East.

 

But the only thing this game comes down to in the end is the Cousins run. I hope that Buster Posey is not hurt too bad. Cousins played the game the right way and went in as he should, but it would be a terrible thing for Cousins career to be defined by injuring Posey.
