Deal with it.

We funna win.

But seriously, we can't afford to lose 4 straight. Thankfully the Phillies haven't been that hot either.

Maybe one day we'll hit our top power threat higher than sixth in the order....

If he doesn't produce, he shouldn't bat higher than 6th.

I believe Mike is saying that he hasn't produced when put in the 4th/5th spot in the lineup.

Stanton

I know. He hasn't been producing well enough to bat higher than 6th. Most of his homers have been solo shots and I'm sure his RISP isn't that good.

Thats when he was struggling overall early in the season. Batting order doesn't effect good hitters.

I'd say Stanton begs to differ. His numbers aren't as good batting 4th/5th. I'll try to look it up but it'll take a while on my phone.

Yes, and Stanton doesn't get enough at bats above batting sixth to make a statement like that. Its statistically inconclusive at this point.

He had enough ABs. They even tried moving him back there and if I remember he began struggling again.

He hit fifth last night and launch a home run, yes?

I will say that the reason the majority of Stanton's HR's are solo is because he often gets garbage to hit with men on base.

I'm not saying they should do it as I'm fine with the current lineup (as long as Gaby and Dobbs are hitting at this rate), but I bet if you put Stanton 4th and protect him with Gaby 5th, he'd look a lot better with .RISP.
