Quite honestly, I don't see what the big deal is.

 

They aren't leaving town. This isn't the last game at Fenway Park or a historic stadium. They are leaving a football stadium that was usually 80% empty for most games and it wasn't even theirs.

 

The last game should be a celebration because now they'll have their own stadium, which will be one of the best in the league.

 

Because it's the last game of the Florida Marlins and the stadium, which wasn't theirs, still held some amazing memories.

I'll add to it. It's a end of September day, even if it was a Sunday or even Monday what NFL game warrants your attention over your favorite MLB team playing in it's 19 year old home.

 

Even a Yankee Fan probably watched Shea go down in the last game, and any MLB fan who was able to watched Yankee have the lights turn off.

He had an appointment with his hair stylist.

And as a side note......The team sent all season ticket holders a voucher for 4 tickets in the club level for this game. Got ours yesterday. Bit of a surprise. Official attendance is going to shoot up for this one.

Most likely will open that upper deck. Going to look like alot of tickets sold. For instance, we now have 6 tickets and there is only two of us. But it is going to be hot up there for the entire game.

 

And rain delay? Let's see........Afternoon game in September = damn good chance of it.

I snagged a few Fish Tank seats on the cheap from Stubhub. It'll be cool to see Stras pitch in person and hopefully we hit him hard.

I'll be going, my only Marlins game this year. My work situation has sucked, but they are offering cheap tickets and it's really gonna feel kinda special to be in the last game at that stadium.
