Marlins signed RHP Robert Ray to a minor league contract.

 

Ray, 27, posted a brutal 6.75 ERA across 66 2/3 minor league innings this past year in the Blue Jays' system. He's doubtful to suddenly shine with the Marlins.

Those were more frustrating and soul crushing than annoying.

 

When I say annoying, I'm referring to everyone jumping at every little piece of news and being disappointed that we haven't signed anyone significant yet. The biggest FA signings in baseball have been relief pitchers so far (literally with Broxton).
