5/13 Post Game

Relatively speaking (compared to, say, the third game in New York), Bell didn't pitch that horrendously. He does have some location problems, though.

The double to Murphy was just bad luck, but he did walk a batter and that 3-2 pitch to Turner was left up for the taking.

When you throw an incredibly predictable 5-6 fastballs in a row to a major league hitter, chances are you're going to get hit hard somewhere. I know you're speaking relatively, but he looked like sh*t to me. The bottom line is he has no business being used in this game whatsoever. Pathetic decision-making.

A couple of weeks ago he couldn't throw a strike if his life depended on it. He still has major location issues, but he's not quite that bad anymore. He's definitely not good enough to be used in high leverage situations.

My butterface sense is tingling.

By the way, why are you posting this? I don't think you took this picture or that it's you...

I agree with your judgment. Bad call on the post.

Posing with the player of the game...

Because he's our resident creep.

By the way, I'd also have Stanton's children. What a massive...

home run.

I actually took a pic with that Stanton sign on Opening Night. I was wearing his jersey. It's on my dad's phone, though.

I wonder if that act uses the same part of the brain that girls share that makes them buy iPhones?

Seriously, every girl I know has an iPhone. Like, did you all make a pact to never buy another phone?

What a game!! I finally broke my losing streak for attending Marlins games dating all the way back to Halladay's perfect game!!

I saw JJ's loss against the D'Backs a couple of weeks ago.

I really was believing I was bad luck, especially when ol' Heath gave up those runs.

But what a roller coaster ride. So much fun.

A couple iPhone pics from today. (I'm not a girl, 'zat ok?)

Family Sunday (not my family)

Has Stanton ever flipped a bat so disdainfully after a home run? That was my favorite part, the look on his face and the attitude, I don't really remember Stanton showing emotion like that.

Get that sh*t out of here!

Yes, I agree about it being relatively better than his other outings. Which is far from the justification needed to insert him back into that role.

Yeah, I realized that too. Never seen him react like that before.

I'm a gentleman so I will just say "nice girl at Taste of Miami"

No no no. You're doing it all wrong. The captions need to be something along the lines of "looking sexy as always, at Taste of Miami," "She's so pretty. Say hello!" or "Gorgeous eyes. She's so sweet!"

I'm gonna have to say with Stanton doing the bat flip may have been due to being against the Mets and ... well, f*** the Mets. :D

Damn right, f*** the Mets!

Judge you, I will not. Observe you, I will.

Now Gaby Sanchez cannot hit against lefty starter, EVEN. (Jon Niese is not Dominent pitcher like Johan Santana)

Two of most strongest points are "has Good number against lefty" and "Defensive".

If he cannot hit the ball against lefty, he is just defensive "1st baseman".

He's gotten alot better since he first got called up. But he's still not a defensive 1B.

i was forced to leave my apartment after hanley walked but i freaked when i heard stanton hit a granny.

two walk off grand slams today with votto as well.

big win and i know heath didnt deserve a win but if he just finishes ronny cedeno hes out of the inning. still no excuse.

Cedeno was the turning point in that inning, but slow reaction time also hurt on that ball hit down the 1B line. Good 1B nails the play. But you are right, still no excuse. Bell is still working his way out of this funk. He will get there. And the fans will find someone else to direct their hate at.

I think it's an easier phone to text with when you have long nails.
