May 30, 201214 yr awesome win. our big bats are hitting, and things are coming together. nats were getting swag, being in first place and all. put them back in their place tomorrow with the sweep.
May 30, 201214 yr I'm glad that Hanley seems to be putting things together. The top half of the lineup is starting to look pretty solid; the bottom half (especially the 7/8 hitters) sucks pretty hard.
May 30, 201214 yr Very big game to win and anibal pitched great. I thought cishek might fold in the 8th but he got through it and Hanley with that huge insurance run. Heath finally gets the point that he needs to use his change up which I've been thinking for weeks. Very effective pitch to keep guys off balance. Really like what I'm seeing from Stanton. Being more selective and not just hitting for power.

May 30, 201214 yr I wet myself on that Cishek strikeout of Harper in the 8th. Yes. Got the hot shot rookie to chase that high fastball. Loved it. With the bases loaded too. Can't decide who I'm more confident with the ball right now, Ani or Buehrle. I'd say it's a push. Ani has had such great stuff all year. This next month could be tough obviously, as long as the pitching stays consistent to what it has been mostly we should stay near the top. Wish Buck and/or Peterson could hit some, they are a black hole in the lineup. Getting absolute nada from either.

May 30, 201214 yr Our whole division is over .500 right now-and the Phillies are in last place. Marlins need to keep this up to make the playoffs-even with the 2 WC's now.
