They were all feasting on below average hitting teams and now that they face some of the better hitting clubs in the American League, they get absolutely pounded. Add that in with a pathetic bullpen full of scrubs outside of 2 pitchers and you have a recipe for a bottom of league team, which they will be in the matter of the next week or two.
June 23, 201214 yr They'll win on Saturday. Johnson has been throwing pretty well lately and the offense has been sucking less over the last couple of games.

I love when someone comes in after the fact and tells everyone that everyone should have known the pitching sucked way back when, even though that person had said nothing about it at the time. Playing the result is fun because you can never be wrong!

June 23, 201214 yr sigh... at least Gaby got it going, that could help. When he does it in a close game, late, when it matters, then it helps-this only puts him at just above .200 since his return. Otherwise, we are just looking for silver linings from meaningless stats-just like Buck hitting a hr the other night and he is so slow, he cannot even advance a base on a ball getting away from the catcher, yet the guy on 2nd got to third. Man, I rarely leave a game early, but I just could not take it anymore, left after the 6th last night.
