July 4, 201214 yr Lost in yet another Heath Bell disaster is that Anibal Sanchez pitched like a pile of shit today. Those weren't cheap shots, either. Yeah pitching today was full Of fail minus cishek and I didn't get to see Dunn or Leblanc.

Bell sucks but this team has even bigger (pun) issues than Bell at this point, it was 9-0 going into the 7th, the Brewers are one of the worst pitching teams in the league. Look at the box score the relievers ERA's for the most part are extremely disgusting looking 5's and 6's won't cut it. IDC anymore this year, I will watch them but sell at the trade deadline this isn't the year. Can anyone say Juan Oviedo?

July 4, 201214 yr There goes Ozzie again, with his don't put it all on Bell bs He had a lead which for the upteenth time he gave up (or forced others like Cishek in to try to clean up his mess) . Ozzie can point fingers all he wants at Sanchez, Webb, Gaudin who are all pitching like dog crap, but Bell's job is to make sure that games that are set up to be in our win column, after all the bs pitching that may have occurred in the game, stay in the win column. Even his saves almost half the time come off as accidental. The dude has a putrid ERA approaching 7. Come up man! The ship is capsizing, and Ozzie's at the wheel guaranteeing for sure that there's only one place this ship is heading.... where Luca Brasi and Osama sleep.

July 4, 201214 yr This one brought me to tears, damn it Bell, a real soul crusher. I knew they were going to come back and Bell just lets the team down so badly again. His teammates must really be miffed at why he can't do his damn job. It's a team game but one player is really costing them games, a lot of games. Will we have enough time to turn it around? Bell is done for the year i think. His confidence must be in the dumpster by now, what a terrible feeling but they fought back this game and I'm happy for that at least. Thanks for at least giving a shit today. . .

His peripherals dropped pretty significantly last year so it was probably a combo of both.

The call not to bunt with Infante was pretty bad as was the call to bring in a hurt player who isn't good on defense to begin with to replace a healthy, better defender who he moved to a spot he had ony played two games at in his career. Lucky that didn't wind up costing us even more.
