Bret Hart
There is no mercy on freepass. Eovaldi has allowed too many walks each start. so he couldn't carry 6+ innings.
Erick
I must say, at some point, it's time to admit that Eovaldi is pretty f***ing terrible right now. The guy has no business being in a big league rotation next year. At least the other five rotation candidates on the team are either established pitchers or pitchers who look like they belong. He was traded for a former all star so he must be good! You'd have to be living in a cave to think otherwise!
nekromantique
the major reason for the hanley trade was to clear salary. i think eovaldi is a reliever next year.
Michael
I'm wanting Eovaldi to be a reliever next season until he can get his change-up working. When that gets going, he can go at it as a starter. That and control.

He was brought in to assure that we finish in last, thus making our draft pick position a product of the Hanley Ramirez trade. Deductive reasoning, Erick. CyggyMarlin
Leaning towards making Eovaldi a reliever or he spends more time next year in AAA
