January 9, 201313 yr Yankees owner Jacob Ruppert, Umpire Hank O'Day and deadball era player Deacon White Deacon had a solid run from '73 to '81 and and an impressive 5 HR '84, but not sure that should have gotten him in the Hall.
January 10, 201313 yr Author I'm still baffled that Jack Morris can get so many damn votes. That's the real absurdity in all of this.
January 10, 201313 yr I think it's absurdity Biggio isn't a first ballot HOFer. He barely has ties to steroid use (other than allegations by Jeff Pearlman, who throws around steroid allegations like tissue paper). And, his numbers are HOF worthy on their own. He'll get in eventually though, so whatever.
