8-19 sucks but hell, hell, hell of a lot better playing the last couple of games. I want 83 more wins,

Slowey pitched great. I actually fell asleep in the top of the 9th and woke up to find coghlan on second with no outs.

i mean the mets didnt exactly hit but we got a break here.

Though i have never thought of him as a starter, big hit by solano. if dietrich hits solano can be a solid utility man.

nice little surge to end April. lol walk off wild pitch.

Is Slowely cheap? since he is washed up? if team is still not good, by all means keep him and trade Nolasco.

They should trade Slowey right now.

I don't think anyone would buy in on him now, but come the week of the trade deadline if he can keep up these solid numbers or something like a sub 3.5 ERA and a WHIP under 1.25 then they'll definitely be some teams who are in the playoff race that'll be looking for starting pitching. An example right now, even though it's really early but they should be in the playoff race by July, is the Angels. Or possibly the Brewers, Indians, Pirates or Rockies. Every team could really use more SP especially in such a long season where players get hurt almost every day.
