Well, there is Brantly, Realmuto, and now Barnes. Also, one of the biggest names going into next years draft is a catcher.

 

All of our catchers are question marks though. Brantly and JT aren't hitting, and Barnes is too early to tell

unknowns. Realmuto's supposed to be a good athlete & was expected to hit a little more.

One thing that makes me so high on Barnes is that he has an ability (and consistently shown it) to draw walks, so he can at least be an on-base guy, maybe be a strong #8 hitter if anything.
