Every damn year.

July 27, 201312 yr Good young pitching with live arms. And it could get better I believe it WILL! Heaney needs to be promoted soon to AA, Flynn will show us what he's got in September, and our five man rotation next year to start off could actually be: Fernandez, Turner, Eovaldi, Flynn, Alvarez. That's opening day and that can change DRASTICALLY (for the better, too!) in June, which is an amazing thought.
July 27, 201312 yr Heaney needs to be promoted soon to AA, Marlins don't believe in promoting our #1 pitching prospect from AA, they'll leave him in Jupiter this season and then promote him at the start of 2014.

It is amazing, ask the Nationals how its feels to always "plan for the future seasons of success". Besides, I think that there is truly a method to this madness, so to speak. It's widely suspected that Loria has his fingers in everything that the Marlins do, I suspect that he is really looking to sell the team in a couple years and either wants to make one last run at a World Series and/or increase the potential suitors who want to buy the team with all of this young, and Major League experienced, talent.

Potential suitors would put a higher value on an extra year before arbitration or an extra year of club control. If that's Loria's endgame, then he's doing a pretty poor job of execution.
July 28, 201312 yr Author Sorry for being off topic here. However, when I initially read this article I shared it here because I like to read the responses and know you guys would appreciate a good read. Thank you all for your input as it has contributed to an interesting read for me. However, I also wanted to post in on the Marlins Message Boards. For the life of me, I can't find the message boards on the team's site. Can anyone send me a link? Could it be that they actually took down the message boards because of all of the negativity? Please let me know. Thanks.
