22 more of these this yer please

22 more gets us to 70, better than last year. Hopefully this can convince Loria....hey let's add some veteran, young veterans to this team. Not Pierre polanco veterans but ludwick, span veterans. Those types.

Who do you have in mind? FA market is pretty thin next year

if we win 70 games that doesnt mean this team is better than the team that started last season. that comment by samson would be BS considering they sold way before the trade deadline last year with infante, hanley, anibal, choate, and others.

not saying this team isnt better that last year as far as the future but if samson tries to pull that card it would be horse shit.

Who do I have in mind? Game changers. We have one potential game changer, that's yelich. Or he will be soon. Maybe hech one day. We need game changers. Do you have anyone in mind?

I like Mccann but the position player market is rough next year. Hopefully Coghlan can somehow give us. 750 ops at 3b next year, stanton hits 45 HRs and Lomo gives us. 850 ops at 1b

If you mean change the game for worse, then yeah.

Hech with that -1.1 WAR, #1 worse SS out of 19 qualified. Even when it is 230 PAs, he's still #1 out of 34.

4th worse out of 151 qualified players in all of MLB.

If only that was as bad as it gets with him. :(

That was fun, actually got to see most of it on MLB.tv. Jose pitched well, Stanton homered, Morrison a couple of doubles and the bullpen held. Win over the Dodgers, not too bad.

Can McCann really come to the marlins, or no way?

I hope. McCann and Mathis. Perfect.

Hech is one of those guys who the eye test loves but defensive metrics hate.

He hasn't been too impressive with the eye test over the last couple of weeks. A lot of gaffes.

I think he emerges as an above average defender in the end, though, but I don't think that will be enough value to compensate for his lack of offense.

come on. yes, he has made some errors lately but he has been fantastic overall.

I disagree. He generally makes the routine plays with gusto but outside of that I have not been impressed.

On another note, Brantly OPSing at a solid .406 clip since getting sent down :p
