You are needed for this one. He did take a big step back this season in NO, no doubt. If he establishes a major league career, not much doubt at this point it will be in relief, maybe in a LOOGY role. Something we need, actually.

That's entirely accurate. It's also true he hasn't gotten much of a chance, either. As I mentioned above, I agree that he has taken a step back this year and it's put his future into question. We actually need a LOOGY and Flynn could eventually be that guy. He gives lefties a shitty look with that height and all those knees and elbows coming at them, could be his niche eventually. He has pretty good K/BB numbers against lefties, and even a pretty decent opp BA considering how high his opp BABIP is.

If you see him as being a LOOGY, that means that there are plenty of things for people here to dislike about him. His numbers against LHB in AAA this season aren't even good enough to project him as a solid LOOGY. I don't see him ever making it as a reliever considering how poor his stuff his. His frame isn't enough to compensate for that.

Don't put a sentence like the one I bolded into quotations and pass it off as something that somebody said when they never did. It's easy to argue against nobody, because nobody said that.
