I actually think he would get frustrated at Fenway. He hits way too many line drives to make that ballpark benefit him IMO. His batting average would probably benefit, but his power might not.

Probably. But he would likely lose a shit ton of doubles (and a few triples), especially as he ages.

 

And he's capable of hitting 40+ at Marlins Park, so that's not saying much anyway.

You're assuming that I'm assuming that. Not every ball off the monster will ricochet that far, of course, since not every ball Stanton hits off the monster is going to be a 115 MPH line drive. Come on, now, don't exaggerate.

 

I've seen some skyscrapers hit the wall down the line and bounce pretty far back, too - if I remember right Pedroia got an inside the parker on one down the line, but don't quote me on that. Or, you probably will, so that you can answer this stuff.

 

But yeah. Back to main point, you think a lot of doubles would be taken away, I have to disagree and say I think his doubles will remain about the same level. Shoot, the way he hits line drives, if he hits one to that corner towards left center, he could get an ITP homer if it doesn't stay IN that corner and bounces around in center.

If Stanton hits one to the monster, the monster will have a boner and the ball will hit the boner and go over. HR.

Realistically, only about two or so ballparks is that actually a home run in, most likely, but, yeah. :lol

New York other than manhattan too. Citi Field is in a weird neighborhood and I've only ever been to the old yankee stadium but it was right across the street from current yankee stadium and its nothing special.

Yea, when I went to the new Yankee Stadium the area was rather disappointing. Couldn't wait to take the train back to my Manhattan hotel.

Old Yankee

Jacobs Field

Old Cincinatti stadium

AT&T Park

PNC Park

Camden Yards

 

and Giants and Pirates skyline and ballparks are easily the nicest. San Fran is incredible.

I look forward to going to AT&T. I went to PNC last year (I was at the Josh Harrison walk-off debacle) and it's a beautiful ballpark, but not nearly as functional as Marlins Park IMO. But walking across the Clemente bridge (especially at that time when the city was buzzing around the Pirates) was pretty cool.
