August 6, 201412 yr Hi guys, for those who don't know me I live in England. I like to watch a bit of TV, but English TV sucks. I mean, really sucks. I don't like Downton Abbey, and Doctor Who just ain't as good as it used to be. So, I have a VPN and Neflix.com, so I can watch all the (much, much better) US TV. I love(d) Breaking Bad, The Office, Modern Family, Family Guy (before it started to suck), The Middle and Bob's Burgers. So, I was wondering (based on these preferences) what other US TV goodness I could sink my teeth into. I've just spent two weeks watching The Office from the start (even the post-Michael Scott era) but am on S9E10, so am nearly in need of something else. I'm not keen on TBBT or OITNB. Hope you can help.
August 6, 201412 yr Since you've got Netflix, most of the AMC shows are on there Mad Men, Hell on Wheels, Walking Dead, I like the comedies Scrubs and Chuck also on there, also check out Netflix own series House of Cards and Orange is the New Black
August 6, 201412 yr Author Thanks. I've seen Walking Dead but gave up halfway through the last season as it just got boring. I've seen two episodes of OITNB and I'm not a fan. I think Scrubs might appeal, though.
August 6, 201412 yr Give Pretty Little Liars a look. It straddles the edge of having to surrender your man card, but it is actually a good little suspense/thriller series with hot 20 somethings running around.
August 6, 201412 yr If you want to go a bit old school watch the show LOST from the beginning. Fun ride and screw the people who hated on the show.
August 6, 201412 yr 24 is a good show. Although if this year was the end of it, the finale was quite a disappointment.
August 6, 201412 yr I never could get into Lost. Not saying it was a bad show, just wasnt my cup of tea.
August 7, 201411 yr If you want to delve into sci-fi, Continuum is a fantastic show and the whole series (up until this point) is available to stream on Netflix.
