August 12, 201411 yr We play the Diamondbacks, Rangers, and Colorado for our next 9 games after this with the only games on the road being the colorado series where Stanton puts the ball into orbit. We will either be very close to contention after that stretch or we are done. We can't keep hovering around the same mark because eventually those other teams will get hot. You need to treat the diamondbacks, rangers, and rockies like we are playing the nationals, braves, and dodgers. No letting down now. No underestimation. Do not forget these teams want to win too and they are out to spoil us...AND all the other contenders. Exciting stuff nonetheless.
