November 29, 201411 yr Beans generally knows what he's doing and it often works out but man this guy be "firesaling" like every other year. I can't imagine the combination of excitement and frustration that it is being an A's fan.

It's all about depth and value for him. I don't think anything screams "value" quite as much as Josh Donaldson has for the past few years. I don't ever advise trading an MVP caliber player when your team is coming off a post-season berth.
