dim
Mark Canha in Colorado should be nice to watch. He's a good hitter who was never given a real shot, always reminded me of Gaby Sanchez in our system... *Reads through more posts* Mark Canha in Oakland should be nice to watch. Billy Beane knows when to acquire talent and Canha is just that.
SongInTheAir
Canha is being called a "limited ceiling but ready to play now first baseman" Seems like we could have used one of those, huh?
dim
Canha is being called a "limited ceiling but ready to play now first baseman" Seems like we could have used one of those, huh? While Canha has played 1B a lot I've always thought his numbers had more value at 3B with the occasional ability to play one of the corner outfield positions. While defensively he's best at 1B, I feel like that's a waste of his talent.
Hotcorner
Really whether he'll amount to anything,I don't get letting him go. We have no 1b depth in the system and our current starter isn't very good. I feel like it's not that big a stretch for him to become Gaby Sanchez, who was useful for a year or two. Bret Hart
A's just adds Mark Canha to 2015 Opening day roster. He collected 13 rbi with team-leading 6 homers, .297/.342/.635 thru ST. Now LF Crisp went to DL, so Canha will start a LF offen. batato
Marlins pick up LHP Andrew McKirahan from Cubs in draft (pitching for Atlanta) Mark Canha - He hit .297 with 6 hrs 13 rbi this spring for the A's
SongInTheAir
The Braves will not be competing this year, they have the room to keep a guy like McKirahan on the roster all season and let him deal with his lumps at the big league level.
