Phelps has been legitimately great, and advanced stats show that it is sustainable. Despite that, we all know Redmond will send him back to the bullpen when Alvarez comes back because Koehler has "experience" or whatever bullshit reason he comes up with.

Phelps: 3.24/3.07 (ERA/FIP)

Koehler: 5.18/5.52 (ERA/FIP)

I'm more interested on who's moving when Jose comes back.

I was high on Phelps when we acquired him.

he pitched in an awful park to pitch at, for the type of pitcher he is.

Actually a great throw, runner just beat it. I get that Stanton's wet newspaper swings can be annoying, but don't start making things up!

You're wasting your time song.  It's just one irrational thought after another coming from him.

He gives to charity, gives free tickets to fans of other teams on the road and Marlins fans at home.  I fail to see the harm, so much uncalled for hate.

Honestly, all of that is just icing on the cake.  If he didn't do any of that, and was just a fan that went to baseball games in a marlins jersey cause he loves his team, it's still not indicative of someone being a douche.

We should at least have someone warming up, right?

Pretty sure Cosart gets the 5th spot regardless.

Also, JUST NOW someone is getting warmed up for us? Christ, Red, where you been?

Phelps is out of gas

In his defense, gas prices are really, really high here in California.
