I don't care that we're twenty below 500... Its the final game of the season and Dee Gordon is chasing history. And this thread is empty? I'm about to go all Tommy Hutton on you guys. I'm gonna hope most of you are at least watching this where ever u are.

Is Hutton not around? What's the deal?

Rich just said he had the day off. Probably was gonna have a three man booth and Hutton said Fuck no way am I ending the season having to work with Preston, I'm taking this one off. See ya in the spring.

Day off on the last day of the season. lawl

my thoughts exactly - kinda weird with Dee going for the title and all.

And we get oine last bout of fucking stupidity with DJ... leaving Rienzo out there when he clearly sucks

Last game of the season doesn't mean it's ok to play to lose. You should have almost all hands on deck. Why Jennings wouldn't pull Rienzo here is beyond me.

Not surprising, they're not playing to win.

Dan Jennings isn't playing to win. I dunno if that's different to you but it is to me.

You always want to end the season strong.  This fucker has his bags packed and by the door.

If you guys were managing would u pull Dee at this point or leave him in? Keep in mind the possibility of the cycle still in play.

Either way. It's still stupid.

but it's not 'either way' when Adam Conley, Dee Gordon, and the rest of the lineup is playing to win but their manager is letting them down by not pulling an obviously struggling pitcher in a tie game. I understand it's the last game but if the players are on the field playing hard then they deserve the manager's respect in terms of managing to win. He doesn't have to make endless pitching changes and shifts and lineup tweaks etc...but in a tie game when ur worst pitcher is clearly blowing it and is about to let the opposition break it open, you obviously pull that guy. Jennings is gonna say be was letting Rienzo work shit out but for what if there's no season after this one? Just pull him. Period.
