2015 - 2016 Florida Panthers season

That 5th goal the Isles got, Luongo totally fubar'd it. Oh well, not hitting the panic button yet, lots of hockey left to play.

I don't really think the home/away thing matters. We're a good road team too. What matters is getting a big save or two.

Especially not with the rather pathetic crowd they had lol

At some point he had 23 shots against and 5 went in. What on Earth...?

The Panthers did their job offensively. 40+ shots and 4 goals. That's maximizing potential, even with Greiss playing well. They did everything right offensively, and easily could've scored more. But 4 is probably 1 more than you need to win.

Montoya should start tomorrow, but short of a shutout... Luongo should be going game 3. I say this because... this team will live and die by his success. You're asking for a miracle from a less talented goalie in Montoya. Luongo... you're just asking him to stop choking.

Luongo will start Game 3 regardless, but I'm not sure I'd personally go back to him if Montoya plays well tomorrow.

You play the hot goalie in the playoffs. Play Montoya tomorrow and if he does great then you put him back out there in game 3.

Gotta be "great" though. This back to back game thing is a blessing in disguise. It allows you to start Montoya with minimal impact to Luongo's psyche.

Agreed. Although I have a feeling Gallant won't start Montoya tomorrow.

Yeah, given his post game comments, I expect Luongo. Which, I'm okay with.

But I sort of think they should've announced Montoya way back on Monday. If only for the reason that there's two games in less than 24 hours... and 4 games in 6 days.

Fucking Tavares is single-handedly killing us.

2-1 lead with 3:33 left in the game. C'mon hang on...

Great game from Luongo. Matheson made a few big mistakes but it's only like his 5th game and he's still better than Kindl. Also,  I wouldn't be surprised if Mckegg takes Grimaldis spot.

I think that McKegg should play too. Hopefully Trocheck comes back soon.

Fuck I gotta listen to the isles broadcast, although Howie Rose (also does Mets radio) is great, Butch Gorig is such a homer.
