2015 - 2016 Florida Panthers season

An irrelevant but nice consolation would also be to finish 2nd in the East. \

That win against Tampa all but locked the playoff spot, and made a good case for winning the division (Bruins have to play the Blues/Blackhawks/Wings, Tampa has to play the Islanders/Rangers). We get to play the Laffs and the Canadiens four times for our remaining seven.

How bad

Most likely out for rest of regular season. Should be back for game 1 of playoffs.

He has a source

(I think George Richards said it on twitter)

I wasn't doubting the trustworthy SS. I was wondering which reporter broke it (seems to be Harvey).

Eitger way, count the days from yesterday. If Trocheck is back in 3 weeks from a broken leg, I'll be surprised.

Yeah it was GR who reported it, but it might be a bit longer. Fractured Fibula. Will probably miss the first round of playoffs too.

Pretty much yesterday sucked.

Fractured fibula and broken leg are the same thing. If he's anything less than 4-6 weeks, I'll be surprised. I'm hoping he's back for a second round that we make.

Marlins Man!

Great game to go to, as far as the rat throwing, that second time there was a whole section of devil fans that tossed their rats.

Hope I'm still in town when playoffs start!

The fans are dopes but that's also a stupid move by the marketing department, it was inevitable

For once, I actually supported Denis Potvin's words and rejected Goldstein's. Potvin pretty much said Goldie, stfu about calling this unfair. We knew it was going to happen, and we've known for 20 years.

But, Randy Moeller is almost always right when it comes to his eyes and what he sees. I don't doubt him for a second if he said he saw Devils fans throwing rats after the 3rd goal that led to the 2nd penalty.

I think the NHL is going to have to do something about it, though. Because when the playoffs come around.. it's not going to be stoppable now.

It'd be bullshit if this team lost a game in the playoffs because of that.

Home fans who generate a penalty just hurt the team. I imagine fans who are doing it with intentions of drawing a penalty might find themselves in legal trouble.

Next to the Devils bench there was a full section of Devil fans. That 2nd penalty was a majority of them, some Devil players were laughing and making a throwing motion to them as well. I was a few sections over.

Not surprised

Not surprised at all. Again, if Potvin or Goldstein were to have said it, I would have questioned it because they're both massive homers. But Moeller is a total straight shooter.
