November 11, 201510 yr Marlins like Mike Leake. Think he will complement Jose Fernandez well..... THOUGHTS?? Article
November 11, 201510 yr Doubtful they pay what he ends up getting what's he projected to get? seems like he could be had for cheap. He's a better idea than fister by a mile AND he shoplifts. perfect
November 11, 201510 yr He's actually very solid. Jackson reporting that the Marlins are also interested in Colby Lewis, Tim Lincecum, and Scott Kazmir. Kazmir, if he stays healthy, has been very good and Lincecum is coming off hip surgery which apparently will help him regain velocity. But Colby Lewis............that's a fucking joke right?
November 11, 201510 yr Leake was caught shoplifting once. No thank you. Why do you think the Marlins are interested? Leake is an extreme bargain hunter.
November 11, 201510 yr But Colby Lewis............that's a fucking joke right? Haven't heard his name before this story, maybe this writer knows Lewis
November 11, 201510 yr All the SP names the Marlins are linked to make me rather try to have a 3 man rotation and just use Jose every other day. That almost seems like a better idea than getting the crap we're after.
November 11, 201510 yr Leake was caught shoplifting once. No thank you. You'd have been more happy if he had gotten away with it? Sheesh ...
November 11, 201510 yr Leake was caught shoplifting once. No thank you. Better not have been Winn Dixie

That almost seems like a better idea than getting the crap we're after. Yup. They're pretty much going after the same pitcher: guys who once had at one time had shiny ERA who can't throw the ball over 87mph anymore and whose other peripherals are in the dumpster
November 11, 201510 yr Lincecum's arm is a wet noodle This would be such a Marlins move. It's their bread and butter kind of a signing.
November 11, 201510 yr This would be such a Marlins move. It's their bread and butter kind of a signing. it seems they plan on making a marlins move whether it's fister or lincecum or whoever
November 11, 201510 yr Admin are Marlins interested in bringing mcgehee back? Minor-league deal with ST invite is possible but not on a guaranteed deal
November 11, 201510 yr I think Leake is going to get 5 years at $13+ a season. Pretty tough there for the Marlins, but I do like him for who he is.
November 11, 201510 yr Admin are Marlins interested in bringing mcgehee back? Vince I'm surprised even you're still behind McGehee and his .180 avg with the marlins
November 11, 201510 yr Vince I'm surprised even you're still behind McGehee and his .180 avg with the marlins Oh man. Nope. You are wrong my New York friend. I don't like .180 averages and anybody that can help the team more is preferred.
November 11, 201510 yr I would be quite happy with Kazmir on a 2-year deal. Me too but he's getting at least a 3 year. fish should still bite
