April 15, 20168 yr yup. does it really surprise you he's doing good elsewhere? Yes it does because your thing is nonsense
April 15, 20168 yr Author I remembered asking here if anybody interested in bring him back for one year deal, but whatever.
April 15, 20168 yr Yes it does because your thing is nonsense yet, he's 2-0. didn't make it out of his first start as a marlin. that's how I gauge.
April 15, 20168 yr Author .114 .BABIP He'll start being terrible again at some point. I really hope so,because he's not a Marlins.
April 15, 20168 yr .114 .BABIP He'll start being terrible again at some point. and then get released after trashing the team to the media for his mistakes.
April 15, 20168 yr Author One question, bad guys on team with playoff or no bad guys on team but without playoff, what's your choice ?

April 15, 20168 yr Of all people to make a thread about. I don't care that Latos is doing well and it won't last but even if it does who cares... I can't stand the guy. It's more often than not that someone leaves the Marlins and I think "well good luck to him" but not Mat Latos. He can suck it.
April 15, 20168 yr So because we have a C.OL. it caused Latos's velocity to decrease last year and for him to play like total trash while he was here, but now that he's gone and away from C.O.L. his velocity automatically comes back up and he's good? Is it possible he wasn't completely healed from his injuries last year and now a year later he's better?

I'm sure he had injuries that were disclosed.
April 15, 20168 yr Precisely. I'm sure he didn't tell the Marlins everything when he got traded here. I'm sure he had injuries that were disclosed. I can accept that the FO messed up and didn't know certain things when they traded for him. That makes sense for a subpar FO.
April 15, 20168 yr I can accept that the FO messed up and didn't know certain things when they traded for him. That makes sense for a subpar FO. Yup. Obviously it wasn't smart to get morse and Latos but who knew at the time? Glad somebody like dee Gordon was smart enough to look beyond this high school drama of baker/Latos to be happy with us.
April 15, 20168 yr Latos wasn't supposed to tell the FO here anything... they're supposed to do their medical research on the players they're acquiring. Medical research on players isn't Mike Hill calling a guy and just asking "Hey, how do you feel?" So it's not that Latos didn't tell them something.

To your point, the Marlins never would have traded Disco for Latos if they had an analytics department in place before the trade.
