in the grand scheme of things is going 3-7 in a 10 game stretch a death sentence?  no, of course not....BUT....they seemingly do this every year and every year folks on here just say it's not a big deal and to stop getting all bent out of shape over a slow start yet by season's end we can look back and see that yeah, that slow start really is a microcosm of the entire season and those of us who are so disgusted at the start are actually correct at season's end.  Not every year is going to be 2003 - stop acting like it's going to play out that way and that getting swept by an 0-9....OH AND NINE...team....is not a big deal.

Say it's not a big deal just want to make self feels better.

We shall see, it is still very early, but...

1.Stanton wasn't clutch and isn't having a great start but he's going to be fine and will earn his contract as long as he stays healthy.

2.The pitching staff is bad. Problem is that we traded away a lot of good, young talent (Eovaldi, Disco, Heaney) and we don't have any sure fire starters behind Jose.

3. Once again. Loria is the problem. He won't authorize the FO to spend a reasonable amount for quality pitching.  He won't clean house and fire Hill for dumb trades like Latos for Disco and poor player development.

4. On the topic of StubHub.  Wtf was I able to buy 6 dollar tix for Citi Field and Nationals Park last week and the cheapest tix for Marlins Park on StubHub are 20 dollars?

Ever tried seatgeek?

He is what is and always has been, more lucky than good.

Damn bro that's harsh. I was thinking more along the lines of 'fuck Tom Koehler'

Unlike Tom Koehler I didn't cry this weekend

Don't tell me you long for Brad Hand

never hated him like everyone else here and always thought he'd be very adequate in a short inning RP role esp considering Narveson is on the team

Don't know how you could watch all three games this past weekend and not cry.

Because team Vince is most important. Taking care of myself though yes, seeing my team die out like this hurts my feelings

Nice to see Brad Hand finally be used right (by the padres) in a short inning role. Too bad the lefty in our pen is much worse than him

Polly I love you man. But brad hand succeeding elsewhere like I correctly predicted....does it fucking surprise you? Out of Marlins uniform means 85% success rate. He will be the starting pitcher in the 2017 all star game at Marlins park and be the first one to throw 6 no hit innings

ii saw sat night ticket going for 30.00 for team lost  tooo bad team on friday

Vince, the Brad Hand thing was due to misuse and not to any particular culture. Unless, I guess, you want to blame our clueless managers not knowing how to use a bullpen being due to the culture?
