4/24 marlins @ giants

guys, I have retained my prophecy on a technicality.

First time watching Ege throw.

He doesn't throw any harder than this? We traded Dyson for this guy?

Throwing all the way across his body like that, his shoulder would fall off if he threw any harder.

I don't know why everyone is hating on Morris. He has a 3.38 ERA still, pretty solid guyz!

I think it's completely in tact still. You still are in line for the final score and the walk off

his FIP is now like 11. I don't ever think I've seen an 8 run ERA/FIP differnece

When you aren't sure what to do when the bases are jammed. Just bring in Brian Morris he will clean everything up nicely.

Time to cut Morris too. I would rather have McGowan up here.

Cishek has been pretty unhittable this year lol

Almost like a well run team with some money to spend realized that Cishek's problems were short term and he's actually still a damn good closer.

But hey, I remember the fans on this board wanting Cishek released after his horrid 10 inning stretch, which overshadowed his amazing tons of innings before that.

Latos is also 4-0 with a 0.79 ERA

of course!

I can see how Ege can be very effective against lefties...He should never face a righty...ever

With our amazing manager, Ege will probably become a righty specialist somehow.

Doesn't matter what he's doing now. We were paying him way too much to keep blowing games. Plus I like barraclough.

latos, salty, cishek all 2015 marlins. and you guys don't believe in my sermons, huh?

Now we got guys we're paying a lot less to blow games!!!

It was more than a 10 inning stretch to be fair. Also, not having Steve Cishek is the least of the team's worries right now. I do agree that he got too much hate considering what he did the two years prior here. But he was terrible last year.

Salty and Cishek might have decent years, but I promise you Latos won't. Quick start, sure, but he won't keep it up. He's bad.

Yes...because 10 innings was indicative of him blowing games for the rest of his tenure.

I've already said the money was the issue. I'm pretty sure a smart team with money would've held onto Cishek knowing he was an obvious case to rebound. But we generally tend to trade guys at low values. While Barraclough is fine, Cishek's value is as an All-Star and should be more than juts him.

I feel you may have said this 2 starts ago.

I haven't checked in a while, but I'm pretty sure I looked and saw his struggles were over something close to just 10 innings. I'm pretty sure it was just one awful awful stretch and we traded him as he was starting to rebound.

uh oh, these are clutch times, Stanton!
