Talk about coming back big.

Who would've guess Ureña and Flores would pitch this well?!

Really hope Flores is ok. Would make a good guy to have in the pen.

Well, coming in to the day, I said I would've been happy with a split. So, I'm happy with it. Now with Jose pitching tomorrow, I hope we can split the series.

its the marlins' dreaded day of the week nemesis (sunday) vs. the ace. which will prevail?

Hate to be that guy but while I'm happy this win gives us the chance to split the series, I can't stop thinking that we were a couple of moves away from winning yesterday and we could have been looking at a possible 3 wins in the series.

Yup. I'm still mad by the way

If the Nationals would have had a big inning in the bottom of the 2nd like they should have when they walked 3 times, we'd be down 3-0 in the series. Fucking Nationals and their culture of losing.

In other news, the Phillies are the luckiest team right now and it's not even close.

Yes. Considering that's my next stop. A sweep of them would be delightful. We owe them that according to AJ

We need Jose to splite this series.

absolutely. a pretty much must win game. would like 8 innings or more. he needs quick innings. and not give up 2 in the first like I'm used to seeing this year.

The Phillies will come crashing down to earth at some point. I'm not even worried about them.

fun fact: my first citi field game was the night marlins won their 19th game (19-30, 5/29/15), today I ditch them and they win their 19th 15 days ahead of last year.

progress....

and bour homered in each 19th win!!

This.. Question is when..

Monday. Tuesday. Wednesday. plus a whole bunch left vs. mets and nationals.

No doubt.

-25 run differential but 2.5 games ahead of us. I despise the Phillies

while we play phillies, mets will meet the nationals for the very first time. OUR JOB: win and we are guaranteed to gain on one of them. simple as that. and I don't care if we are in may. we are on the cusp of being division leaders. and that's why tomorrow is important yet again.

A win in May is just as important as a win in September
