Gonna put my annoying uniform critique for the night in early. That Pirates black alternate is very nice. That's a team that can get away with black-heavy uniforms. The one issue most uniform people tend to have with this uniform combo though is the unnecessary white outline on the P logo and on the numbers. The classic Pirates P logo is a simple gem and suddenly there's this white border that seems completely pointless. To add to that, the cap for this jersey also has that white border. Lose that outline, wear the regular Pirates cap, and this would be a great jersey. One last note is to keep an eye on how often this alternate jersey is worn throughout a season. For the past several years it's been wayy too much, it's been worn more than their white and gray jerseys, often times for days upon days consecutively. To their credit they've scaled it way back this year, in this four game series alone it was only worn once.
