You can blame Mattingly all you want but if you really want to blame someone for Dunn being there it's Lorias fault for not going out to get someone better. I was going to go to the game today but after yesterday my heart can't take it. I'm blaming Mattingly because I dont understand how you take out Barraclough to bring in Dunn. Bearclaw's walks are annoying but he also has one of the best strike out rates for a reliever, why replace him with a known fuck-up?
June 22, 201610 yr If there's anyway I can spin a positive note on this, you would have to think a manager like Donny who obviously believes in bringing in a lefty to face a lefty, no matter how shitty, is speaking with the FO about getting someone in that bullpen that can get lefties out.

June 22, 201610 yr You can't tell me you didn't see this crap coming guys? Jose is out of the game and we had only scored 2 runs against the Braves. This is deja vu all over again. I was actually surprised it wasn't Markakis but Jace Peterson always has a break out game against us, just because. Phelps gave it up and that sucks. I don't even get mad with him because the guy is pitching great. Donnie is an idiot for constantly bringing in the LHP when none of the lefties we have had on this roster this year have gotten guys out. Must be a stigma or something. Bearclaw had the best chance to get out of that inning. I literally fast forward and knew the run was going to score that is just pathetic. We had a real nice chance again but Yelich struck out and with Stanton coming up it was pretty much a done deal. I almost rather keep Bour in the game longer if Chris Johnson is gonna strike out like that.
