Dunn is a solid pitcher but he is not the kind of lefty you rely on to get lefties out. He's not a Javier Lopez or Oliver Perez. He has a flat fastball and a decent slider. In fact, he used to use a big winding curveball that was effective but he doesn't anymore. 

 

He just threw a 94mph fastball that was flat as can be and down the middle.

 

Its also really deflating as a fan to watch us play well for a week and then lose a Fernandez start to a terrible team and watch Stanton flail at a pitch nowhere close for the 100000 time. 

 

Mets may have gotten swept but its different to just lose rather than have like 4 blown saves in 7 games against them.

That one is on Don Mattingly. Obviously phelps made a bad pitch but that's going to happen. Just seems to happen against the braves more than anyone else. But bringing in Dunn there was reminiscent of the Breslow days when you just knew it was over as he ran onto the field.
