Dillon Peters

He's no chris paddack, but having a really nice year in A+ with very impressive so/bb ratio.

10th round pick in 2014 who would have been draft higher if not for an injury (some say as high as third).

In college his fb was 91-93 but appartantly it's mid 90s now.

Knock on him is he's only 5'9 (prob why ks arent higher with that lefty velo)

its highly unlikely Mike Hill really even knows who is on the 25 man roster.

"Still got that Volstad kid right? I like him for next season's Cy Young."

Peters dominant again tonight at JAX.  If he keeps this up he might be an option for 2017.  Unless we trade him away for an old relief pitcher or something.   :9_innocent:

I've been a big fan of Peters since drafting him. He was a guy that would've been taken higher but fell due to injury. I've felt like he was one of our highest potential prospects all year. He's been really impressive this year and seems like he's a future major league rotation guy.
