August 7, 201610 yr Author Marketing purposes? A distinctive trait (wild beard, long hair, Rollie Fingers 'stache, etc.) is more marketable than having everyone clean shaven. I prefer to see some sort of personality and for some people, they choose to express it in their facial hair designs and that's fine by me. One of the reasons I stopped following the NFL almost entirely is because Gooddell has stripped away most of the identity of the league in getting rid of endzone celebrations and generally punishing anyone who has an ounce of personality on the field. September 15, 20169 yr AJ Preller suspended without pay for thirty days because of the Pomeranz trade. I don't what this means for the Marlins and Colin Rea investigation but if Preller was up to something with Pomeranz I wouldn't be surprised if he was hiding something with Rea as well.

September 17, 20169 yr How is that suspension a joke? What GM responsibilities is he missing over the next month? He won't be trading, too soon for free agency, and there's a moratorium on roster moves during each playoff round. The money for him isn't an issue as its a month vacation for him instead.
