August 14, 20169 yr Rodney needs to get his shit together but a finish like this one is gonna give them some momentum heading into Cincinnati. And I know our season looks bleak with all our issues but this team could be back in a playoff spot tonight with some help from the Cubs. With a good week in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh they're right back in this. Play hard and play smart, prove that the last two weeks were just a blip on the radar.
August 14, 20169 yr Author Its easy to say our season ended last night but I think this next week is gonna determine whether that's true or not.
August 14, 20169 yr Author They should do a side by side comparison of the conine 03 throw and the Yelich one today
August 14, 20169 yr Frisaro saying Stanton out for the season... And that'll do it for the marlins season
August 14, 20169 yr Author Frisaro saying Stanton out for the season... Ahh then fuck all the positives I said in this thread. It's over.
August 14, 20169 yr Author Frisaro saying Stanton out for the season... Wait, Frisaro said it? He could be talking about Stanton's 2014 injury.
August 14, 20169 yr I was on such a high 10 minutes ago with that fantastic throw by Yelich. Getting a win after the terrible loss last night and injury news earlier today felt like a boost to the team to remain in contention however this Stanton news is completely deflating. Can see us bombing over the last month and a half and finishing well under .500.
August 14, 20169 yr The good: Tom Koehler really salvaged this series between pitching decently and driving in two against an elite pitcher. Some good defense, and Ozuna and Hech had two hits each. The bad: Yelich had a bad day (except for that throw). Rodney was scary. We are really going to have to scrape for runs now without Stanton (and Bour). I feel like we are toast...but I hope they prove me wrong.
August 14, 20169 yr Jesus wtf. well that's Marlins luck. maybe next year Sent from my iPhone using MarlinsBaseball.com mobile app

Oh, we are toast. No ifs, ands or buts. What really pisses me the hell off is we were healthy ALL YEAR, and then in the middle of the heat of the pennant race, the injuries that derail us every damn year rear their ugly heads again. I'm sick of this shit.
August 14, 20169 yr and we don't even know when Bour is coming back. That asshole better get healthy pronto.
August 14, 20169 yr Author Forgive me for a moment because I know it wasn't on purpose but fuck Giancarlo that was your own fault! Why didn't he stay at first last night!??
August 14, 20169 yr And we don't even have Capps next year And we have to watch Rodney and cashner pitch
August 14, 20169 yr And we don't even have Capps next year Who gives a shit about next year right now?
August 14, 20169 yr Author Well we did win quite a bit last August and September without Stanton. Like I said earlier, you can all give up if you want but the team better not be giving up. Go stomp the reds.
August 14, 20169 yr And we have to watch Rodney and cashner pitch Cashner will be gone to somewhere where he can grow his beard with impunity.
August 14, 20169 yr Author Who gives a shit about next year right now? Everyone of you saying this season is toast.
August 14, 20169 yr Everyone of you saying this season is toast. Man, you know I am one of the most optimistic people here, but I don't see how we are going to consistently score runs without Stanton and Bour. And being pissed about bad luck (because that's exactly what this is) has nothing to do with thinking about next year.
