Maybe got one journalist ID first.

Marriot out there is completely booked anyway. But I was thinking Id stay close by and just hangout there and see if I see some former major leaguers, maybe some current ones. Might be cool.

I can't imagine it being interesting unless you're there to actually work. Might be cool to see all the exec in a hotel lobby, but how long does that last?

How about to kick the ass of Loria and Hill over there ?

Good point. Maybe I can get Samson in a compromising situation and snap a few pics. Show the world Sammy's willy. Blackmail him to influence trades I want.

Not Hill ?

I'm sure you're bound to see some MLB faces at the Winter Meetings but it isn't built as a fan friendly entertainment event. It's probably super boring to go to. It sounds like Comic Con for MLB but it's literally just meetings and conversations. The best case scenario for a fan is probably having a conversation with someone in an elevator.

Yes he has answered several of my emails in the past. But I just sent him one two weeks ago and no answer yet.

He may be on vacation, the front office employees get a lot of time off this time of year. My friend who used to be in there would get like a month off every year around now

Must be nice. How do I get a job there? lol SERIOUSLY.

My friend was a senior exec, I'm sure the benefits like extra vacation time get better with the title.

Keep in mind, they have long hours during the season so that part of it evens out a little.

Google reporting Mets want Stanton. And Marlins may trade, but the real question here is; Who doesnt want Stanton?

Since when does Google report anything?

I'm gonna wait to see what Bing says

Trading Stanton to the Mets would be stupid because we'd obviously have to face him quite a bit and really we'd probably have to get back something like 3 of the Mets starting pitchers. The price would be too high for the Mets. I can't see it happening. And I think too many people forget about the No Trade Clause. Stanton isn't gonna wanna leave now after the way the season ended... his name will come up in rumors but I think this offseason would be really tough to actually trade him.
