Trading Stanton to the Mets would be stupid because we'd obviously have to face him quite a bit and really we'd probably have to get back something like 3 of the Mets starting pitchers. The price would be too high for the Mets. I can't see it happening. And I think too many people forget about the No Trade Clause. Stanton isn't gonna wanna leave now after the way the season ended... his name will come up in rumors but I think this offseason would be really tough to actually trade him.

I disagree. He's said enough times the California thing is a myth. He doesn't hate playing here. He isn't itching to play in California, at least not now. And again, *this* offseason specifically is just bad timing, he won't waive the NTC this offseason even to a cali team.

That doesn't mean that every player who reports he's happy is lying. Especially after agreeing to a contract extension. If he was unhappy he could have declined the contract extension.

And even the speculation is weak. It says he hasn't lived up to the contract which is very subjective considering how early into the contract it is and how injured he's been. It then says this probably only happens if the team decides to rebuild and so far the team has been quite adamant that it isn't rebuilding for 2017. So it's worse than speculation, it's basically making stuff up. It's more like a Mets fan hoping this could happen.

Wong is only a better player than Hech if he can hit which he hasn't done consistently .   Peralta has no range and is probably better suited foe LF or 1st base at this stage.  

 

You know if Hech were a stud Wacha wouldn't cut it.  Im not trying to sell you on the fact that Hech is great, just that he is better defensively than anyone you have in your IF.

I'll give you this one. Every single Frisaro article the last few weeks has been the same. Marlins want starting pitching, they know it'll be hard to get, they want to try and maintain the core, if needed Ozuna and Hech are available, and they'll consider spending on Jansen or Chapman. It feels like the same article over and over again. You can literally go back to each article and check it out.
