March 1, 20179 yr The Marlins added infielder Steve Lombardozzi on a minors deal. He’ll serve as infield depth but doesn’t figure to have much of a shot at cracking the Opening Day roster. Lombardozzi, 28, last appeared in the majors in 2015. He split last year between the independent leagues and the Nationals’ Triple-A affiliate. And who cares.

March 4, 20179 yr Scrub. Marlins need to add Brett Lawrie who still has plenty of upside. Lawrie hits lefties 40 points higher than righties and with Locke looking DL bound, Lawrie can platoon with Bour at first. its looking more like Tyler Moore may start on the roster with Locke on the DL

Depth is just that, depth. As in, we hope to not need this person, but in case of a crappy situation, at least we have him.

March 6, 20179 yr I'd love to get Lawrie. Sadly we'll have no suck luck. He can play all around the infield, and is at least average w his bat.
