Your position only illustrates the point I'm making, Boras prevented the signing. Ultimately, fueling the rumors of his potential trade suitors. And, no. Well that doesn't mean much to me. That's more of a testament to how shitty the players around Jose have been during the Loria years. His on field performance was legit, but just a flash in the pan because of his death.

 

 

It's based on the Marlins saying last summer that they were pessimistic that they would extend Jose on account of him wanting at least $30 million/year. It's based on them saying that Jose closed negotiations (temporarily) after rejecting an extension offer they made after he was sidelined with TSJ. Time after time these roadblocks have entered the media sphere about Jose basically being a hard negotiator and looking for a big payday.

The truth is out there, you just refuse to believe it.
