I still think the "first look" is just spam. I don't expect it to come any sooner than a tweet from them with the new look. Let's see if I'm right.

 

I have more confidence in them than that. I think it will come about an hour earlier in both an email and a text. An hour is a fair amount of time that it's early but not so early to spoil the official reveal.

I highly disagree.  It's apparently an all digital (twitter) reveal.  Sending out the new stuff to thousands (hundreds?) of people before hand would result in all those people sending out the new logo before the team does.  We would all be posting about it and sharing it..........How does that not spoil it?

Because it's only an hour... of course it's spoiling it but 60 mins is nothing overall. They wouldn't have done that First Look thing for nothing. Plenty of people will be at work or school during that hour and won't even realize the 60 mins went by in the grand scheme. You know, in all this time, we've thought of 11:15am, 11:15pm, etc......not once did I ever think about 3:05........it's so obvious, especially with them talking about it constantly with Homer, and "Miami now" etc.

 

Because it's not an announcement... it'll be a video clip sent out on social media. There's no announcement.

This is what I mean. There's no formal announcement so they don't care if fans spoil it an hour early.
