Morosi did say things are heating up with the Phillies only a little bit before Mish so it could be them too. We also don't know if the Phillies got serious and that finally pushed Atlanta or one of the others to push all their chips in and go for it.

February 7, 20197 yr Quick! Someone tell Joe this info! Don't worry. He'll report it in a few weeks, after JT has been traded that there's rumors a deal is close. I don't think Joel Sherman has followed this very well. Little to no chance the Marlins package JT with a bad contract here. This is completely the opposite of what has been reported over the past couple weeks that we're willing to absorb a bad contract to get better prospects.
February 7, 20197 yr Mish likely has good sources but part of his reason for expecting a trade today could simply be that report about Miami wanting to do the deal before FanFest which is this weekend.
