September 29, 20205 yr This isn't the NBA where one great player can carry the rest of the team and the Angels are always missing something (usually starting pitching) but I never felt like Eppler wasn't trying to win there so I almost feel bad for him and the fanbase. It's like they can't really rebuild because they don't wanna waste Trout so they keep throwing whatever they can around him but it just never works. With that said yes it's probably time for a new voice in that front office. Maybe the Angels need a "rebuild" in the front office more than they do on the field. Shake up the baseball operations department and maybe do like a soft/short term rebuild and see if they can gain some traction from there.
