November 4, 20214 yr They need to spend, but they also need to be strategically aggressive on the trade market. They’ve got some extremely valuable SP assets. If they decide to make a trade to acquire a bat, they can’t miss. Need to trade the right arm for the right bat. And that guy needs to be a cornerstone for the next 3/4 years (looking at you Ketel Marte)
November 10, 20214 yr The Marlins have the only farm system with 7x top 100 prospects, so I think they need to make a deal to fill at least one need and sign players to fill the other 2-3.
