I switched to the Heat game.  It’s the first time I’ve watched a basketball game in years.

wtf is this challenge a foul thing?

and apparently you can body a guy out of the way mid shot as long as you touch the ball afterward it isn’t a foul?

I just don’t understand basketball

... Rod do you even know what you're saying half the time? lol

This is one of the reasons I can't stand him. He adds NOTHING of value to the game.

Imagine someone who's a huge baseball fan, waking up after being in a coma for 4 years and seeing all the changes in MLB.

Actually, imagine like a very casual fan, who hasn't watched a baseball game in like 8-10 years and hasn't followed the news, turning on a game and seeing pitch clock, no pitcher batting in NL game and other changes. Would probably be so confused. 😂

Someone like my old man, who is not a baseball fan at all, but has seen enough baseball games in his life to understand the basic rules. If I went with him to a game would have to spend a few minutes explaining the changes. But, honestly he wouldn't care that much. Probably would want to go home and put on Animal planet or something. 😂

Makes you wonder how they trade the performance of these commentators.

Haha that’s true.  But even before I have a hard time understanding basketball.  One play is a foul, the same thing happens again, it’s not.   Double dribble is supposed to be a step, but they take 18 steps to the basket, etc.

now you can challenge a foul, where the bigger guy literally plows into the other guy mid air and body pushes him away from the basket, but that’s a-ok, no foul/overturn the call because he touched the ball after moving the guy out of the way?  Stupid.

Send him back!!!  LOL

Seriously,  why did they send Soriano down.  He's pitched well.  Why the obsession with all of these lefties in the pen?

This was 100% just another situation of Kim making a move to make a move, and no other reason.

"But we need a fresh arm!" We just had two days off a couple days ago, these are big boys, they can handle a two inning stint where necessary.

We might get the greatest margin of victory during a perfect game in history.

I believe the record is 10, Matt Cain's perfect game in 2012.

Oh Boy..

I'm guessing a DFA tomorrow for Nolin.

Shame was hoping for an amazing comeback story.

DFA for Nolin to put Hoeing on the roster, yes. lol

Rays have two outs left (unless their pen blows a 5 run lead in top of 9th...) to extend their home run streak.

5 outs to go.

Sounds like you're rooting for a no hitter?

Well, as I was typing this.. Jean Segura decides to actually get a hit..

Good job Jean.

Jean getting a hit when it doesn't matter. You half expect Avi to hit another homer too.

Yeah, I wanted it. lol. We're gonna lose anyways, let's see some history. 😛

Well looking like once again the Marlins are a solid 3rd place in NL East team.

I'd take 3rd place at this point.

Well, I didn't want to get no hit.
