This is like taking a win off the Marlins hands. It's easy to say just win in Pittsburgh but if this win was completed it completely changes what's needed in Pittsburgh. It's bullshit to be leading here and then have to go play a whole other series and not have this win in their pockets. 

If the game isn't needed Monday then the Marlins should be given the win because why remove a win from their schedule .

I believe it counts 

Just to be clear, if they call the game it would be suspended. They would only make it up if it had playoff implications. So, if we have to make it up, then it would probably make the difference between making the playoffs or not. The thing is, I am pretty sure that you can reset the lineups during the continuation. So if Arraez is healthy, then we could have him bat and still have Soler after him. But the Mets can reset as well and have their 3 biggest sticks bat in the bottom half.

Muts had their top of the lineup anyway

The problem with resuming it Monday is that our whole season would come down to playing the Mets for HALF AN INNING on Monday and pray they don't walk off. Would be a horribly unfair way to put the season on the line especially after all the bullshit MLB has thrown at us this week.

I'm pretty sure the stats won't count if this game ends up being a non-factor in the playoff race.

As @FishFan95 said, the only way this game would be made up is if it ends up being the difference in determining playoff seeding.

If it doesn't matter then just give it to the Marlins so that Luzardo gets all those K's. What a BS way to lose those quality stats.
