Lmaooooo I replied to the Marlins post saying Class of 2023 and they took down their original tweet and had to make a new one.

Good work, BilverSullet!

Someone pull up the image of him smoking a heater outside Marlins Park in full Team USA uniform.

One of my favorite stories was sometime between May 16 and May 18, 1998- Leyland went on an absolute tirade against the entire 1998 Marlins Team. Ripped them to shreds, called em shit, told em they should all be in the minors. Then turns to Mike Piazza calmly, and says "But not you Mike, we'll get you outta here soon enough".

And MAN did he love to shit on Greg Zaun.

I've always found it amusing how nobody, not even the Rockies themselves, ever mention that Leyland managed them for a season. What a disaster that was.

Yeah he regretted joining there cause he said he is a pitchers manager and Coors is well not suited well for that.

He quit two jobs in a row since he resigned from the Marlins after the 1998 season too. I can't fault him for it though. He signed a 5-year deal and then had the team dismantled.

He actually quit 3 jobs in a row.  He quit the Pirates before coming to the Marlins because ownership was fucking cheap.

My wife has quit way more jobs in a row than Leyland and I don't think she's going in any Hall of Fame anytime soon.

Now as soon as I read this post my very first reaction was to write “she’s in @pollythewog’s hall of fame” but after thinking about it, I realized that that might come across as disrespectful and I don’t want to be like that so I made the mature decision to not post that in response to this message.

Oh OK then thanks for not saying it.
